The year 2010 started with a Lunar Eclipse... A beautiful partial eclipse... I was awake in the night watching the Blue moon... Awesome... So after the beautiful Lunar Eclipse here comes a Solar Eclipse. Today's eclipse was Longest Solar Eclipse in this Millennium lasting a staggering 11 min 08 s. Next eclipse to beat this time is slated for December 23, 3043. Preparations: Went to get the Eclipse watching Solar glasses, But they are no where to be found in Udupi, So ended up buying the Welding Glass from a hardware shop as didn't wanted to miss the the view of the eclipse (The best ones are Numbered 14 and are safe to watch a eclipse). Udupi is not in the strip of the eclipse, so was able to watch almost 80% of the Sun covered by the sun. Awesome.....!!! Have no other words and Pictures describing the eclipse. So people who missed today's eclipse I feel sorry for you, Now you have to wait for 9 years to see another Solar eclipse in South India. Not even a partial eclipse f...

After a Day which was fully boring I felt like doing some Apple scripting. Then with help of a friend for some part i was finally able to complete a Simple but May be Useful Script. OS: MAC OS 10.5.7 Verified This Script is Called: Leopard Login Screen Changer. What It Does: Changes The Boring Galaxy Screen off from your Login Screen in OS X Leopard to the one you love. Is This Script Really Useful: Naa, Just some Eye Candy. Any Damage To My System: Nothing serious, After Running the Script for the first time Backup and Keep that DefaultDesktop.jpg file which gets created in your Desktop.(As Later runs will Replace that File with the one you selected previously.) Any Further Improvements: Possible, But time frame cannot be set . Jog Falls, Asia's Largest Water fall. A road trip to Jog falls was just awesome on last Saturday (19-Sep-09). Inspired by Rajkumars "Jeevandalli Nodu Omme Jogada Gundi", We decided we will see it.... :) Now Let the Pictures do the Talking...... :) The Beautiful Jog Falls....... (We were lucky, Because the water to the falls is released every now and then) The Team..... (Lozil, Kevin, Melwyn) OK, I did try to Give a Nice Pose..... Kevin Finally Found His Lost Brother and Started to Take Pictures of Him. Ya that's it, Saw Jog falls and astonished by it's beauty. So if you haven't seen Jog Falls Then I feel You are missing something in Life.... You gotta go and See it once... The beauty is just awesome.

Here are a few Positives and Negatives of Linux as seen by me.... Positives: 1. It's Free and open source so no piracy. 2. Installation is easy, You just need to have some patience to read the instructions. 3. There are NO Viruses, so there is NO need to install Antivirus so NO TENSION (At least when plugging my friends Pen Drive). 4. You can do almost anything with Linux which Windows can do. 5. Almost all drivers come in the Installation CD, So no need to find the MB Drivers CD.. ;) 6. You can find almost all the equivalent windows software free of cost for Linux. 7. Open Office is also Included in the CD. Negatives: 1. The GUI is not completely matured, You have a Kind of unfinished look for GUI in some places. 2. You get all free software, But installing them can be a bit of pain. 3. There are Almost NO BIG Game titles for Linux... :( 4. You at least need to be a small time geek to be able to use Terminal. 5. Some settings can confuse you if you just migrated from Windows. 6. S...

After my friend Rajiv wrote a Apple Script to Switch the Safari into Spy Mode , I also went through some of my useless scrips... :P and found this... :) This script can switch the Leopard OS/ Snow Leopard OS Dock from 3D mode to 2D mode like the one in Tiger OS. Again I was Browsing through the Google Maps and Saw This..... !!!! Checkout the Damage Done to the Mountains.... In Between the Lush Greenery Mining has taken it's toll heavily.... :( :'(

This is called Complete madness..... This is what happens when your brain goes out for a walk and you have a well maintained Bike.... :P You start Bike in the morning at 8.30 and go to Shivamogga from Belman on your Bike. Reach Shivamogga at around 12.15, Riding that 170 Km Stretch... :) Then after finishing your work there you head back home, starting at 3.50 from Shivamogga you reach Belman by 7.15. With your ass paining like hell because of a Long stretch of sitting in the same position riding.That is what I did this Sunday (16-Aug-09), A day to remember... 340 Kms in a day.. For fun, For Experimentation... :) Route Taken: Belman-Karkala-Agumbe-Teerhahalli-Shivamogga Next Try: Belman-Bangalore one way (Date Not Fixed Yet).
