Got a New PC.....

Purchased a computer Last Weekend...
Total Bill of 14,000 Rs. for the CPU.

The Things i got with that bill are,
AMD Sempron 1250+ CPU. (Basic CPU for the Home RIG)
Gigabyte AM2+ Motherboard.
2GB Transcend 667 MHz DDR2 RAM.
500 GB Seagate HDD.
Sony 22X DVD Writer.
Microsoft MM Keyboard + Mouse combo.
Cabinet+ Power Supply.

Then I sat assembling things. With Home CPU and the Newly got components i Build 2 PC's with following Configuration.

Home PC:
CPU-AMD Sempron 1250+ CPU (Ya, the New CPU Goes in Here)
ASUS M2N-MX MB
2 x 1GB transcend 667MHz DDR2 RAM
160GB Seagate HDD SATA + 40 GB WD IDE
LG 18X DVD Writer.
Old CRT monitor+old KB+MS

New PC:
AMD Athlon X2 3600+ (From Old Rig)
XFX Nvidia 8600, 512 MB DDR3 (From Old Rig)
Gigabyte AM2+ Motherboard,
2GB Transcend 667 MHz DDR2 RAM,
500 GB Seagate HDD,
Sony 22X DVD Writer,
Microsoft MM Keyboard + Mouse combo.
Cabinet+ Power Supply.

The main thing missing in New Rig is Monitor.... :(
I can't find the Samsung 2233SW monitor as it is out of stock. So I have to wait for the monitor... Now all i do is sit and stare at the CPU in Room.... :D I have to sort out which Internet connection to get at Udupi for my room..... :)

Axis bank iConnect Login ID

I have a Account in Axis bank, which provided me with a iConnect netbanking account. Initially i had so much trouble finding my Login ID so the account was idle for almost a Year. Then One fine day i just got interested in Internet banking. So started Digging the Documents. Found the iConnect and Telebanking Password slips. Now started searching for the Login ID, Tried all possible ID's which were mentioned in the Welcome Kit... Just to be annoyed and not able to login. Then Found a Entry as Customer ID in the Telebanking password slip . OK Finally made out that the Customer ID is the iConnect ID too so that is the LOGIN ID for iConnect. So i just typed in the Customer ID and the Password, just to get greeted by a Page which tells me USE INTERNET EXPLORER . So Logged in with the Internet Explorer and i was able to login. After 12+ Months of holding the iConnect service i was finally able to login into the iConnect. Now i have to find something which lets me use the servic...

Mission Linux Failed...... :(

After 3 Months with just Open SUSE on my Home PC, The day has come to install the Windows again. Reason...?? My dad...!! One Fine day last week, My dad called me near computer and told he needs Yahoo Messenger, I said just a min, let me configure it in Pidgin. All of a sudden he started yelling at me regarding the difficulty in the OS regarding installation of softwares(Ya he used to install only spyware/malware/adware in windows) that this bla bla bla...., Started screaming that he wants Windows Installed now. I had no other Option than Installing Windows on my machine after listening to his 15 min yelling. So i started searching for drivers CD's and everything which is needed to install Windows. Installed Windows XP. After i finished installation, Sister said she wants Linux..... :) So installed Ubuntu 9.04 for her and myself when i have to use the machine... :) After all work Slept at 11.30PM and around 1AM there was Lightning....!!
